Terms & conditions
These terms apply to services provided by Development Projects by CCDASM, Unipessoal Lda., trading as Visibility Scale (“we”, “us”), to any client (“you”) engaging our AI search, GEO and SEO consulting services.
1. Scope of services
We provide AI Search Optimization (GEO), SEO consulting, and related services including AI Search Ready Websites and AI workflow implementation. The exact scope of each engagement is defined in a written proposal, agreed with you before work begins. Only the services listed in that proposal are included; anything beyond it is treated as a separate, additional engagement.
2. Process and engagement structure
Engagements typically follow this structure:
- A free discovery call to assess fit and understand your situation
- A paid analysis, delivered as a written report with a prioritized roadmap
- Based on the analysis, either a defined one-time project or an ongoing monthly subscription
Each paid engagement is confirmed in writing (proposal or agreement) before work begins, stating scope, price, and delivery timeline.
3. Payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, one-time projects and analyses require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery. Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each service period. Invoices are payable within the term stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts.
4. No guaranteed results
AI search visibility, search engine rankings, and citation by AI platforms depend on factors outside our control, including third-party platform algorithms, competitor activity, and market changes. We do not guarantee specific rankings, visibility outcomes, or citation frequency on any AI platform or search engine. We commit to applying our documented framework and professional expertise in good faith, and to reporting honestly on results achieved.
5. Client responsibilities
Timely delivery depends on you providing necessary access (e.g. website admin, analytics, domain settings), content, and feedback within a reasonable time. Delays caused by missing access or input may extend agreed timelines accordingly.
6. Intellectual property
Reports, roadmaps, and strategy documents we create for you become yours to use for your business upon full payment. Our internal frameworks, methodologies, templates, and any general know-how remain our property and may be reused for other clients.
7. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us as confidential and use it solely for the purpose of delivering our services, unless you give explicit permission to reference the engagement publicly (for example, as a case study).
8. Cancellation
One-time projects: once work has begun, deposits are non-refundable, as they cover time and resources already committed. Monthly subscriptions: either party may cancel with 30 days’ written notice; already-invoiced periods remain payable.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including changes in AI platform or search engine behaviour beyond our control.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time a proposal is signed applies to that engagement.
